I registered this Blog a year ago and I have been meeting so many wonderful SisterLock sisters as I install and retighten locks. I have been planning to update this blog and I've been so busy, I just haven't gotten around to it. Well, a year later, I've finally decided to get this blog going!!
I am completely new to this blogging thing, so please be patient with me, I eventually plan to have pictures to document my work as a loctician and my personal SisterLock journey. Let me know what you think of my blog!!

- I am a very dedicated and passionate Certified Sisterlocks Consultant. I made the transition in 2004 from 12 inches of flowing relaxed hair to 1 inch of my natural hair. My locking session was to take place 8 weeks after my consultation. I was very HAPPY about my decision to free myself from chemicals and from the whole process of altering my natural hair. I realized that my tightly coiled natural hair was absolutely beautiful! I looked at my rough cuticle, short curl pattern, extremely dense, spongy hair and thought to myself, this is "good hair"! All of my life I believed I had "bad" hair until my discovery of Sisterlocks set me free. I am humbled and grateful for Dr. JoAnne Cornwell and for her determination to challenge that "bad hair" myth that is perceived by so many. Dr. JoAnne Cornwell has attributed to helping so many women embrace what our hair does naturally and that is to "lock". My only regret is not Sisterlocking my hair sooner!

E! I love your pics your locks are beautiful and they compliment you well, and I must admit when I seen your hair color on the sisterlock site it was exactly what I had in mind when I do decide to color my hair.
I wondered who you were with the beautiful locs on the sls website.
